Losses of Racing in The Highway

Why people should pay more attention to their safety when driving? Nowadays, road accidents on the highway are very common. Especially during the homecoming season or before Eid. The accident was caused by many factors, such as slippery roads, machines that does not working well, sleepy and speeding. However, of the many factors, too fast is the most dangerous factor among the other factors. According to data obtained from the police, in the past year, there are about 1900 cases of road accidents due to speeding. Racing on the highway is dangerous because it losses for yourself and others. Some people may say that they are too fast while driving is because they are in hurry. However, they forget one fact : too fast while driving might kill ourselves, which proves that a lot of accident happens on the road to convince the statement above, the following paragraphs will talks about losses due to speeding on the highway.

           The first is, speeding could do harm to ourselves and the people that we loved. We all know if we are in rush, we will drive as fast as possible. But that is not the right things to do. Driving the car beyond the normal limits will cause accident and injure ourselves and people that we loved in the car. Moreover, not only hurt the people that we loved, but also could take their lives were speeding on the highway. Data from the police also revealed that 1900 cases of accidents due to speeding, about 5034 people died.

          Second, speeding could harm others, especially the pedestrians. The driver who spurred his vehicle outside the boundary could lose control, so it will hit the pedestrians. For examples, the cases that occur in Panarung, Palangka Raya,  a week ago, a girl died because she has been crashed by a car. The informan said that when the victim was walking too fast because she is late for school. Somehow, right at the intersection of the street, the Avanza suddenly came in fast, the driver can not control the speeding of his car. Then the car hit that girl, the victim bounced into the middle of the street, and the victim's head and mouth are bleeding.

            Therefore, using any kind of vehicle also need to be prepared and checked all the components of the vehicle. Make sure the car that will be used in a good condition. If there needs to be fixed, fixed it immediately. Never underestimate the problems concerning our own vehicle because not only will interrupt the journey but also could endanger the safety. Slow your speed at the pedestrian crossings, near the school, where crowds at intersections and corners. Speeding can cause accidents and deaths on the highway deliver, not only for drivers, but also for others. So, from now learn how to drive carefully and do not speeding even though we are in rush.
