Graphic designer is one of the professional jobs out there. Since its first booming, people still underestimate this job. They say that this job does not have much different compared to an unemployed person. Because a lot of people still think that every job needs someone to go somewhere or set out of their home. In this case, many graphic designers forced to make a disguise for them to not look like an unemployed person. They start to make their own shop or something else to make people think that they really do something to make a living. Of course, graphic designer is still their main job for the living. This method can prevent them from badmouthed people. Besides the truth that they always compared to unemployed people, graphic designer is actually a mine of gold for them. It is because the salary they get from a single design is higher than a person's salary in a month with the common job. When we talk about this, a lot of people will ask about how to be one of them? What is the benefit we get beside the high salary? What should we do to get a client? And of course, Can it really be our main job for living our family in the future? If people want to be one of the graphic designers, all they have to do is just making a lot of portfolios. This is the way many artists and graphic designers promote themselves. With the portfolio, graphic designer does not have to send all of his works to each person that interested on their work. It can save a lot of time and give them more time to do their job. The another way is joining an agent. With this, graphic designer can just focus on their job while the agent doing the rest like promoting the graphic designer whose working with them. This is the best option for them who does not want to deal with the client directly. The benefit of being a graphic designer beside a high salary is we can meet new people around the world. Dealing with new people is interesting, we can have friends not just from our country, but over the world. Expressing our thought is also another benefit of being a graphic designer. Skill is not everything, but the way we expressing our idea is also matter to graphic designer. The more creative you are, the more clients you get. To get clients is not an easy task. If an artist chooses to self-promoting, the frequency of promoting themselves is the most important matter while they who goes with an agent can count in their agent for promoting them. The consistency of your works is another thing that matters to get clients. If you focus on one theme, you could get a real client. After they know your area, they will tell their friends to buy from you. A graphic designer is a promising professional job out there. The reason is the high salary of the job. One single design can be paid more than 10 dollars for a newcomer and more than thousand for the well-known designer. This is not a stable job, but the more people know us, the more clients we get. In the summary, before we want to be a graphic designer, we have to know what we need and what we have to do later. This job is very promising because of the high salary, but we have to be a real businessman with all promoting things and deal with the client directly. For people who does not want to deal with clients, I recommend an agent working with you. It will be easier for the designer because they do not have to deal with clients. My advice is to learn English, it is useful to deal with people around the world.
